ABOUT
We hand pick items of vintage furniture ensuring that they are stable and sturdy and originally well made. Our furniture is preloved and used so even after professionally
upcycling they may have small imperfections such as tiny dings or dents. We think this all adds to the history and character
Some of the pieces may have minor damage so this is repaired. We carefully prepare the wood with lots of sanding and use either chalk paint or undercoat and acylic paint, depending on the result we wish to achieve. We source the wallpaper and posters for the decoupage from all over and protect it with two coats of clear varnish.
Each item of furniture is an individual unique one of a kind piece. There will not be another exactly like it. We try to get the decoupage to match the style of the item. This lovely elegant chest of drawers best suited a gentle leafy design whereas we think our mid century
sideboards suit a more retro 1960s type of pattern.
